The Individual Bleeding Control Kit by North American Rescue is designed to equip everyday people with the essential tools needed to act as immediate responders and stop severe bleeding before professional help arrives.
Housed in a durable nylon carry bag, this compact kit contains intuitive, easy-to-use equipment proven to save lives. Contents include a C-A-T® Tourniquet, high-quality gauze, trauma shears, and pressure dressings/bandages. Step-by-step, illustrated “just-in-time” pictorial instructions are included to guide users through effective bleeding control, even under stress.
Available Configurations
North American Rescue Individual Bleeding Control Kits are available in multiple configurations to meet a wide range of response needs:
Basic
Provides essential bleeding control equipment—tourniquets, pressure dressings, and gauze—placing lifesaving tools directly into the hands of the public to help control bleeding and save lives.
Intermediate
Includes all components of the Basic kit, with the added capability to treat penetrating chest wounds using a vented chest seal twin pack for entrance and exit wounds.
Advanced / Advanced BCD / Advanced Celox™
Includes all components of the Intermediate kit, plus a hemostatic dressing to enhance blood clotting for faster, more effective control of severe bleeding.
